A Bit About Me

I’m Elli, the woman behind the camera, the one who has a passion for documenting love and telling stories. Originally from Wisconsin, I eventually found my way to Raleigh, North Carolina, which is where my home base is. Although that is my base, I am back and forth to Vegas, Wisconsin, LA and pretty much anywhere the wind blows.

I’m a wife and mother to two boys, which has deeply shaped the way I see connection, movement, and fleeting moments, as children are the biggest reminders of how quickly time flies. When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll find us traveling, thrifting, chasing good light, or finding our new favorite food spot, usually sushi.

My work began as a creative outlet, a space for me to indulge in art, and organically, thankfully, it evolved into a full-time practice in 2023. Weddings are my primary focus, though I approach each celebration with the same care regardless of scale, because well, life is worth celebrating. I believe in my heart that the most impactful images feel lived in rather than posed and guided by intuition rather than instruction. Freedom over performance.
